25/52 {baby/toddler/life updates}

Whew! I finally got the opportunity to sit and put an update together for last week. We've been in Texas since Thursday and have been on-the-go non-stop. I don't have much time to write, but here are some pictures of what we've been up to...
Evita has been a bit of a handful this week. She's been a little grumpy, but that's understandable since she went from being sick to being moved around everywhere. One thing is for sure, she was happy to be back at the beach...

Damian has been a busy boy this week! Towards the beginning of this week we showed himself to himself in the mirror for the first time. He thought it was pretty awesome. He smiled and giggled while looking back and forth between us and him. He's been giggling a whole lot lately, actually. This week he also went on his first plane ride. He did pretty well, but he did cry a bit.

Here are a few of the loved-ones Damian has met for the first time since he's been in Texas:

I've been happy to be home as well. Life is so much better by the beach. I love being around family and eating the best food in the world. I do miss Daniel, though.

  1. The photo of Evita loving the sand is perfection and what great treasures are the photos of Damian with all his family! Glad you are having fun in Texas.

  2. That umbrella trick on the beach is freaking awesome! I'm not sure how well it would work on a windy east coast beach though! I can't believe Damian has already been on a plane... lucky boy and brave mama. Cute photos :)
